Keri Mercer - Daycare Center Director
It’s with great excitement that Metairie Ridge welcomes our new Daycare Director. Keri began serving in this role on August 12th, 2019, but she is no stranger to MRPC. Keri was previously the lead teacher for the two-year-old room, and her exceptional work made her stand out.
Keri has a great passion for working with children that began when she worked at a summer camp when she was 14 years old.
After graduating from high school, she wanted to further her education in child development.
To help with that goal Keri began working as a teacher at Metairie Ridge while working on her certifications in Child Care.
After a brief time away from Metairie Ridge, Keri rejoined the teachers of MRPC in her new role as a lead teacher.
Keri credited her love for Metairie Ridge as the main reason for her returning to daycare.
That passion for Metairie Ridge and its daycare is evident in the work that she has already done.
Keri recently completed and was awarded her Child Development Associate Certification and is excited for the future of the Metairie Ridge Daycare.
